Welcome to our practice! I am honored to help with your skin needs. When you leave our office, I hope you feel valued. No matter your age or condition, I want to remind you of your worth and beauty.
I graduated from Wake Forest University PA school in 2001 and have always worked in dermatology. Over the past twenty years, my career has included both clinical and surgical dermatology.
I enjoy treating the wide range of ages that encompasses the field of dermatology. From pediatrics to adolescents to adults, I am passionate about providing general dermatologic care.
I also have years of assisting in MOHS and cosmetic surgeries. Minor surgical skin procedures are a special interest of mine. It is my desire to deliver excellent skin care clinically and surgically.
Thank you for taking the time to read about us and we are privileged to take care of your needs.
I’m so glad you visited our website! Beth and I met at Campbell University and I received my Physician Assistant degree from the College of West Virginia.
Frontline dermatology through family medicine has given me over 25 years of experience treating a variety of acute skin disorders. I also specialize in chronic skin diseases that affect multi-body systems, such as lupus, sarcoidosis, and hidradenitis suppurativa. It is invaluable to have a background in general medicine and possess a broad knowledge of medication, physiology, labs, and referrals. As your provider, this gives me a unique perspective and a holistic approach when treating your skin. Integration of modern treatments, such as biologics, is also a special interest of mine.
In my years of practicing medicine, I have learned that building relationships and trust with patients is of utmost importance. I have grown to love these interactions and it is a sacred place to be trusted with one’s health. Dermatology is very personal to me. Most of our children have struggled with acute and chronic dermatologic conditions that have affected and challenged their self-worth. This understanding helps me to deliver compassionate and effective care.
Clemmons has provided a place of growth for our family. We value the schools, businesses and the community. As it continues to grow, we look forward to bringing Clemmons its first dermatology office! Beth and I look forward to delivering you excellence in dermatology.
Nice to meet you! My name is Katherine, but I will more than likely introduce myself as 'Kat.' I am the voice behind the phone and the first face to welcome you to our practice.
I graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree in human development and family science. I moved from Mississippi to help start Clemmons Dermatology and gain more experience in the medical field. I plan to pursue a career as a physician assistant, but until then, I look forward to helping with your skin needs.
